Baraboo Quartz Raw Pieces

Baraboo Quartz is a unique stone only found in the Baraboo county region of Wisconsin. It is a gorgeous stone with a sugary luster and rich purple color. It is also an incredibly old stone, formed about 1.7 billion years ago, and is predominantly made from quartz silica grains and hematite being pressed together through a tremendous amount of heat, pressure, and time.

It is believed, due to the incredible age of this stone, that it is great for ancient earth work. Due to the high hematite content appearing as a unique purple hue, it has unique grounding and protective qualities. It "anchors" positive changes by helping one bring thoughts into reality through motivation and grounded, pragmatic action. It can give one protection during dramatic life changes.
