IMBOLC Herb + Crystal Dressed Candle

Imbolc is the mid point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox, and falls on February 2nd. Historically, it was a time where wheat and grains were the remaining food stores and ewes were near birth, and beginning to lactate. Thus popular foods made on this day were breads, pastries and dairy products.
This Sabbat is most closely associated with the goddess Brighid, who is tied to fire, metal working, crafts, health, and livestock.

Imbolc is a time of purification, protection, and cleansing. It is a great time to clean your home. It is also to best time to work with fairies, as the fairy realm is closest on this day.

These Imbolc candles are made with a grass fed, grass finished beef tallow that we source from local Wisconsin farmers and render ourselves, and pure beeswax sourced from family owned Midwestern apiaries. We only use high quality fragrance oils that comply with California prop 65 guidelines and are free of all pthalates, parabens, and other endocrine disrupting toxins.

The tops of the candles are dressed with herbs and crystals associated with Imbolc.

Burn time is approximately 40 hours.

The scent of our Imbolc candles is both cold and crisp, but also cozy and comforting. Prominent notes are fresh air, spearmint, winter berries, pine needles, oakwood, frosted moss, and musk.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep burning candles away from flammable objects. Keep burning candles away from children and pets.

To keep your candle at its best and burning for as long as possible, keep the wick trimmed to 1/4". Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time, and allow to cool completely before relighting. Discontinue use when about 1/4" of wax remains.
