Petrified wood, as the name implies, is wood that has been fossilized and turned to stone. The bands and bark patterns of the wood are still preserved and visible in this slice.

Deeply rooted into ancient Earth, petrified wood is incredibly grounding and primal. It is a great stone to work with when you are struggling to find your footing in the world. Being a fossil, it is also great to work with when accessing past life and overcoming past traumas.
