Pink Tourmaline Specimen - OOAK

Pink tourmaline is a stone of harmony. It neutralizes negative and stagnant energy within a space or body, and harmonizes it's user with their innate feminine energy, regardless of identity. It promotes compassion, brings loving, healing energy into the heart space. 

Geologically, pink tourmaline is a gorgeous crystal that features a rosy pink coloration. It forms when liquid magma from volcanic explosions cools down into igneous rocks. Borosilica acid will shift from a gas or liquid into a solid state during the cool down phase, creating tourmaline between the igneous rocks. The different types of trace minerals in the acid will attribute to tourmaline's rainbow of colors. This particular specimen is formed in pegmatite, a type of igneous stone that is high in quartz and feldspar and has conspicuous, interlocking crystal structures.
