Shiva Lingam stones are very unique. Naturally tumbled by rolling in the river bed, these stones only form in the Narmada River in India. They have a rich history, earliest archeological specimens being found in the second century BC, and they are still used today in temples to worship Shiva, the god of destruction and transformation in Hinduism. Much like this deity, Shiva lingams carry ties to divinity, transformation, protection, and transformation.
Historically, this stone has been used to respesent the perfect balance between female and male energies, hot and cold, yin and yang.

Geologically, Shiva lingams are a type of cryptocrystalline quartz that contains iron oxide deposits, with some inclusions of agate, basalt, jasper, and feldspar. It is a dense stone that feels heavy and smooth in the hand.
